Once a week cadets will wear an issued

Once per week cadets will engage in physical exercise according to their ability level. From playing games such as soccer and ultimate frisbee, Cadets learn the values of teamwork and cooperation to accomplish their goals.

Cadets learn the customs, courtesies, and history of the United States Navy. They will also learn how to better themselves as citizens in and out of the military.

Cadets will learn marching and drill according to the NJROTC Drill Manual based off Marine Corps Order 5060.20
Drill teams
Unarmed Drill
Unarmed Drill is the most fundamental form of drill. In this team, Cadets will learn advanced marching techniques and perform both regulation and exhibition drill routines.
Armed Drill
In Armed Drill, Cadets will learn the armed drill manual handling decommissioned Springfield Daisy 1903 rifles. With their new found knowledge they will complete regulation and exhibition drill routines.
Color Guard
Air Rifle
In Air Rifle, Cadets will learn rifle safety and handling, the basics of firing including Natural Point of Aim, Breath Control, and much more to compete in a three position .177 air rifle competition.
In Color Guard, Cadets will learn the necessary precision and attention to detail required to bear the Colors of the United States. Cadets will be required to hold themselves to the highest standards to complete a regulation routine in one of two competition Color Guard teams.
Physical Training
Academics /JLAB
In Academic Team, Cadets will learn advanced concepts to what they learn in class, from physics, to history, to pop culture. Cadets on academic team seek to be well rounded in knowledge to compete in the national JLAB competition.
In PT, Cadets will challenge their physical abilities to the the fullest to complete the Cadet Challenge test. This test consists of cadence push-ups, a timed plank, and a timed run. Cadets will test their limits attempting to win the Iron woman/man awards.
